Bruton Showhome, Somerset

This showhome is part of the Cubis development of 56 houses on the edge of the small but culturally vibrant town of Bruton in Somerset. The brief for the showhome was that it should be ‘different’ and reflect something of its unique setting.

The look we have produced is pared back and natural with a limited palette of colours inspired by nature. We focused on texture - using natural materials as much as we could - with loose woven drapy linens for the curtains, soft pure wool chunky rugs, and sheepskins from rare breed Devon sheep. The upholstered furniture is British-made and we sourced art and ceramics from local artists and makers.
